Abstract

This paper looks at how women experience trauma in A House Without Windows and The Pearl That Broke Its Shell by Nadia Hashimi. It shows how Afghan women suffer under strict rules and unfair treatment, such as forced marriage and being kept away from society. The study also shows how these women find strength and ways to fight back, even in difficult situations. Using ideas from feminism, the paper highlights both the pain and the courage of the female characters as they try to change their lives.
